Welcome
I would like to welcome you to Tempo Primary School’s website. The school is situated at the edge of Tempo village. We have been in the heart of the community providing high quality education and a stimulating and caring learning environment for over 40 years.
Tempo Primary is a very exciting place to be as we completed a school extension, providing two wonderful new state of the art classrooms and the most up-to-date teaching resources throughout. Tempo Primary is a happy, caring school where each child is valued and encouraged to do their best.
We aim to bring learning alive, making it exciting and stimulating. We want to give our children the best possible start in life and a thirst for learning that continues with them through their future school experiences.
In order to achieve this, it is essential that the school continues to have an excellent relationship with the wider community and enjoys the support and active involvement of parents and families who are kept informed of the happenings within the school community (including our very active and supportive PTSG) by weekly newsletters, school app, text messages, Facebook page, annual reports and parent-teacher interviews.
At Tempo Primary we operate an open door policy and would encourage parents to come along and speak with staff if we can be of any help.
Our school website is kept up-to-date on a regular basis. It helps us on our route to being more eco-friendly as we reduce our paper usage. There will also be resources for pupils to encourage their learning and development.
I hope you will enjoy browsing through our website and we do invite any prospective parents and pupils to contact the school and come for a tour around.
Warmest regards
Andrea Erskine
Principal
