This month the children have began their new learning topic on castles which has shown a lot of excitement since they have returned from the Easter break. Everyone enjoyed the sponsored bunny hop and egg hunt before their holidays. The children have been learning new skills in numeracy of tens and units and the value of numbers and within literacy they have been doing a lot of work on question marks and how to create questions. They have all been sharing their skills by trying to animate and code within ICT. Everyone has also enjoyed being outdoors in the lovely weather and planting wildflower seeds and potatoes.
The police also came to visit us to discuss internet safety and allowed the children to try and test out some of their gear when they were there.
